ZeroMetric — Independent Cybersecurity Software Directory

ZeroMetric is an independent directory of 90 cybersecurity software tools across 13 categories. We check pricing, data rights, security, and compliance from public vendor documentation. Every tool is scored on the Compliance Transparency Index (CTI), a 0-100 framework measuring what each vendor publicly documents about security, pricing, data rights, and legitimacy. We do not accept paid placements. Every score is verifiable against public sources.

How We Score Tools

The Compliance Transparency Index (CTI) is a 0-100 score with four components: Security 40 points (SOC 2, GDPR, SSO, Data Retention); Pricing 25 points (Public Pricing, Free Trial); Data Rights 20 points (Output Ownership, Training Opt-Out, Data Export, Data Deletion); Legitimacy 15 points (Founded Year, HQ Location, Integrations). Grades: A 85+, B 70+, C 50+, D below 50. A low CTI score does not mean a tool is bad — it means the vendor has not made key procurement information publicly available.
